My house is in a poor condition. Will I get a quick sale at auction?
If your house is in a poor condition and due to personal or financial circumstances you cannot or do not want to make improvements to your property, selling at auction could be a good way to get a quick sale.
If you sell a property in poor condition through the more traditional routes, such as with an estate agent, you will be likely to put off many potential buyers. Buyers want to be able to move straight in to a property and often cannot afford to make improvements themselves.
Auctions have always been a great way to sell more difficult property as they attract a range of buyers, including property traders and investors. Traders and investors will be looking for the potential in your property and whether it can make money and will not be put off by the condition the property is in. As long the reserve price is not set too high on your property you can expect to sell at the auction and get the fast sell you need.
You should also consider selling direct to a property trading company or to a property investor to get a fast sale.
