My home is being repossessed - can I stop it?
If you are being threatened with repossession you can normally stop the repossession at any time up until contracts have been exchanged on your property. Even if you have been evicted it may not be too late to stop it.
In order to stop the repossession your financial situation must have changed or improved in some way - perhaps you have found employment when you were previously unemployed, for example. As soon as this happens you should contact your lenders and the court straight away and explain how your circumstances have changed. You should then be able to halt the proceedings.
